Women of the World
Since the history of humanity on Earth, men and women have been together this journey and adventure.
Primitive men were hunters, primitive women were taking care the offspring. Social roles were imposed for anthropological, social and biological reasons. Despite all odds, we still kept working together to build this world. We complement each other. In many ways through history, in old times BC, women and men were portrayed like gods, based on ancient cultures except when old religions started to reject the feminine figure. Since then, women around the world are still fighting for their rights and desire changes throughout the world.
It doesn’t matter the language, the color, your status, and origins. Women are changing the world:
Here are some examples of powerful women in history:
1.- Marie Curie 1867-1934 first women Nobel prize in Physics and Chemistry
2.-Rosa Parks 1913-2005 grow up in a segregated society in Alabama, US. She was sitting in the front of the bus, reserved for whites. She was a powerful activist of human rights on the 50’s.
3.- Emmeline Pankhurst 1858-1928, a “Sister Suffragette”
In 1903, she founded the WSPU (Women Social Political Union) to obtain the rights for women vote.
4.- Ada Lovelace, 1815-1852 the first programmer women of the history, she worked with Charles Baggage to create the “analytical machine” used for mathematic calculations.
5.- Rosalind Franklin 1920- 1958 – British Cryptographer, who gave the world, the first DNA images with a X rays diffraction.
There are countless examples of brave and influential women on the world during the earth’s history
Modern women have to fight against stereotype, misogynist, and prejudice every day of their lives.
Femininity: is the meaning of life, love, creation. This blog is dedicated to the women in the world with different languages, needs, stories, etc. etc.
